Alexey Oleynik was fired from his position. An internal investigation is ongoing.
Alexey Oleinik no longer holds the position of head of the prosecutor’s office of the Khmelnytsky region. Earlier, he responded to information that 50 prosecutors in the region have disabilities, which they received under Krupa’s scheme.
Information is verified
Alexey Oleinik allegedly resigned from his position of his own free will. The investigation into the case of registration of disability by 50 regional prosecutors continues.
It covers the verification of not only information that concerns the above-mentioned regional prosecutor’s office, but also other prosecutorial authorities.
Previously, Oleynik tried to refute Butusov’s statement that 50 prosecutors in his region were illegally given disabilities. He noted that Butusov’s statements do not fully correspond to reality. Thus, he noted that the number of prosecutors in the Khmelnitsky region is 225 prosecutors. At the same time, only 48 of them have a disability group.
The head of the Khmelnitsky prosecutor’s office also added that he also has health problems. So, in 2005, he was injured at work while studying materials from criminal proceedings.
